I have been re-watching Ted Lasso. Which I have re-watched before too. I've done some re-watching of Schitt's Creek too. And of course Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Meanwhile my s.o. and I are doing a complete Star Trek watch-through, from the original series on to current day. Most of this is a re-watch for him, but not for me, so that's fun. I'm all about comfort television.

I love that you have a nice line up of go-to's. I love rewatching The Vampire Diaries when I want something a little dark and Insecure or Girlfriends for a good laugh.

I loved this article so much! It brought me back to the days we use to watch TV shows with the family all together, not separate things on all of our screens and the impact of oral history work on health just through reflecting on good times. Recently I digitized some old tapes and found an episode of Downtown! Before Mariska Hargitay was Olivia Benson on Law&Order!

I’m so glad you enjoyed reading this. You make great points regarding cultural shifts and how many families no longer gather together for TV time. It even makes me think about how family dinners have also changed over time. Digitizing tapes is something I never thought about. That is something I need to consider!

The Parker’s does it for me! At this point can watch every season from beginning to end. Laughs, morals, and light consumption truly teleports me back to my safe space; in my mind, in my body—it feels like home. And honestly what a duo (Monique and Countess!) The show is chefs kiss✨

Thank you for sharing air! Was a needed breather/read🙏🏾
